Seventh Channel Communications the pioneer production house for Television Programmes was established in 1985 by Manicam Narayanan, who was born in a family of photographers. A gold medalist in school, he graduated in Economics from the Loyola College , Chennai, ranking among the top 5 students. He took up photography as his profession more than two decades ago. He is not only for video film making but also the First Producer to have made TV serials for Doordarshan, Chennai.

Seventh Channel has so far produced over 1200 hours of software for television. The company also enjoys the best of rapport & reputation in the film industry having produced 4 Tamil feature films. The company has also produced lot of film based software in India & various countries like Kenya, South Africa, Mauritius, Thailand, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Macau Islands, Singapore and Malaysia.
